Artworks donated through the Australian Government's Cultural Gifts Program or by bequest have played a significant role in building The University of Queensland Art Collection, the second largest public art collection in Queensland. The hundreds of works that have been generously gifted, which are cared for and managed according to the highest international museum standards, are accessible for research and public enjoyment.
