Summary:

The UQ Art Museum’s Student Engagement Council gives voice to the UQ student body. It offers feedback and ideas to the UQ Art Museum relating to the creative program and how to best engage with university students.

What you will bring to the role:  

  • Knowledge of art or art museums is NOT necessary! We want to hear from students
  • This is a volunteer position requiring 2 to 3 hours per month
  • Be available to meet at the UQ Art Museum, on the last Monday of every month from 4.00 to 5.00 pm. (The Council will NOT meet during exam block)
  • Offer feedback on ways to inform and engage students with art, culture and creativity at the UQ Art Museum
  • Offer feedback on how students can make an impact on the UQ Art Museum

Criteria: 

  • You must be a current student enrolled in courses at UQ
  • You will commit a minimum of one semester to the Council
  • You will bring an energetic, passionate and enthusiastic approach and fresh ideas
